Getting to West Cork

 

By Car

Cork is at the end of the M8 motorway making it easilt accessible from anywhere in Ireland. Dublin is a 2.5 hour drive away, and you can get to Cork from Limerick (1.5 hours), Galway (2 hrs 40) and Waterford (2 hours).

By Bus

Cork is easily accessible from Dublin, Galway, Limerick and other major towns and cities by bus.

By Train

Cork’s Kent Station offers easy access to the national rail network, connecting Cork with all major towns and cities. From Kent Station, you can also access, Cobh, Mallow and Cherleville.

 
 
 
 

By Plane

Several airlines have flights to Cork Airport from most of the major cities of UK, Europe and the US. The airport is only 10 minutes from the city centre. There are also internal flights to Cork from Dublin and Shannon airports.

By Ferry

Brittany Ferries provide a service to the Ringaskiddy Ferry Terminal at the Port of Cork from France and Spain. Irish Ferries and Stena Line provide service via Rosslare and Dublin. The ferry terminal is only 15km from Cork.
