Allihies

Allihies is the last village on the tip of the Bear Peninsula sitting between an impressive rocky mountain range and the rugged Atlantic coast. As you descend into the village you are treated to an impressive panorama of Ballydonegan Bay. 

The village itself is famed for mining copper during the industrial revolution and the Man Engine House that still stands proud against the skyline, is part of the Copper Mine Museum and a testament to the village’s industrial heritage

Eyeries

Eyeries is a charming and colourful village, sitting on a hill overlooking Coulagh Bay. There are remarkable views to be had from the village of the bay, the Altlantic beyond, the Bear Peninsula and the Kerry mountains in the distance.

The picturesque village is full of pastel painted houses, and it has been a winner of Ireland’s Tidy Town competition on more than one occasion. It has also been widely used in TV and film charming appeal and stunning views.
