Kilcrohane is the last coastal village on the Sheep's Head Peninsula after Durrus and Ahakista. It lies under the 'Shadow of Seefin', the area’s highest hill. It is also close to Caher Mountain and overlooks Dunmanus Bay.

A small but thriving village, with a variety of pubs, cafes and restaurants, is the ideal place from which to explore Sheep’s Head peninsula. The Sheep’s Head Way waling routeraces the entire coastline around the peninsula, offering spectacular views. It is also popular with cyclist and you can swim from Kilcrohane pier.

Kilcrohane also has Sheep’s Head Producers’ Market and Shop which is the best place to find local crafts and artisan foods.
